Welcome To RCMT

Located in southeastern Idaho, Rexburg College of Massage Therapy offers students the opportunity to jump confidently into a career in massage therapy. After just 8 months, you will have the knowledge and skills necessary to become a licensed massage therapist. We study both the human body and the art of massage to give our students a comprehensive education. We also provide them time to practice hands on, and become more familiar with client interactions and the ability to offer a satisfying massage.

Tassi LMT, BA, MMT
Tassi LMT, BA, MMTInstructor
The human body is amazing and I love learning and teaching about it. I love the power of positive touch. Two of my mottos are one from Gandi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” and the other is “See a need, fill a need.”

I was born and raised in Eastern Idaho. I love the changing seasons here, but my happy place is either in the mountains when it’s warm or on a beach when it’s warm. I graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2004, completed an associate’s degree from Ricks College, a bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho. My husband and I are raising four active, wonderful sons and one daughter, who are the reason I do all that I do. I love learning, watching my boys in their activities, our baby girl learn and grow, being outside, gardening and reading.

Alyssa Adams
Alyssa AdamsInstructor
Alyssa is a Tennessee native who found her way to Rexburg to obtain a bachelor degree from Brigham Young University Idaho. She graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science with the plan to pursue either dental or PA school. To help make this decision, Alyssa decided on taking a gap year and began working in an orthodontic office. She loved the job but mainly loved talking about the associated knowledge that she was gaining. A couple months after starting that position, she was able to start teaching at BYUI. While doing both, Alyssa found her joy in teaching. This joy helped her realize that graduate school wasn’t for her. Therefore, due to her love of science and teaching, that’s how she found her way to us.

When Alyssa isn’t teaching, she’s spending time with her husband, Braydon. They enjoy visiting family, watching and attending sports games, playing games and movie nights.

Jaiden Stevens, LMT, CPT
Jaiden Stevens, LMT, CPTInstructor
Jaiden Stevens is a licensed massage therapist, movement specialist, entrepreneur, and instructor at Rexburg College of Massage Therapy (RCMT), where he teaches Applied Kinesiology, Ethics and Idaho State Law, and Prenatal Massage. He also leads advanced coursework in kinesiology, customer service excellence, business and marketing mastery, and the theory and application of therapeutic massage.

Grounded in biomechanics and human movement, Jaiden approaches bodywork through an integrated lens of manual therapy, corrective exercise, and behavioral science. His clinical expertise includes deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, and prenatal massage, with a particular focus on helping clients build sustainable mobility, strength, and nervous-system resilience.

Beyond the classroom, Jaiden is a multi-faceted wellness entrepreneur. He is the co-owner, alongside his wife Avri, of a women-only fitness facility, called HER Fit, dedicated to creating a safe, empowering, and high-quality training environment for women at every stage of life. He is also the owner of HYH Wellness, a massage therapy practice centered on personalized, evidence-informed care. Through HYH Wellness, Jaiden intends to expand into a full-spectrum wellness model that includes esthetics, nail care, and scalp and head spa treatments, creating a truly holistic self-care experience for clients.

Jaiden is currently working toward publication of his first self-help book in the personal development space. His writing explores how self-love, self-compassion, and radical acceptance can be intentionally woven into everyday self-care practices, transforming them from routines into meaningful rituals of personal growth.

As a male practitioner in a predominantly female profession, Jaiden is deeply committed to modeling professional integrity, clear communication, and ethical boundaries. He prioritizes psychological safety and respect in both clinical and educational settings, fostering environments where students and clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Jaiden’s work ultimately bridges movement, manual therapy, mindset, and entrepreneurship, all rooted in a simple but powerful belief: healing is most effective when people learn how to care for themselves with intention, curiosity, and compassion.
